As far as I remember, I have always been a photographer. I remember as a kid in the 1980's using one of those plastic Kodak 110 cameras that used the film with 2 spools that looked like a little sled. In the 90's in college it was a 35MM Pentax K-1000 for college photography classes. Then it was any number of different Sony video cameras. I had a career as a tv news photojournalist for 30 years. Even though I was shooting video, I never stopped making pictures.

Now as an educator at a community college, I find my passion for still photography stronger than it's ever been. I do love me a great view, and landscape photography is kinda my happy place. I now use a respectable Canon mirrorless camera. I figured that if I enjoy these images so much, maybe other people would too. Thanks for taking your time to view my work.
